Adult Learner Autumn School

Adult Learner Autumn School Tuesday 17th to Thursday 19th September 2024, 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM This free, 3-day event will offer adults a chance to:

· Try out informal taster sessions in different subject areas

· Find out more about options for work and study and the financial support available

· Meet other adult learners and hear from current mature students

· Learn about the courses and support for adults at the Lifelong Learning Centre.

· Explore the University of Leeds campus.

Lunch and refreshments provided, and limited pre-school childcare places are available in the University nursery. Please note: the Autumn School is aimed at adults who are:

· Not currently studying and interested in finding out more about their options in education OR

· Studying at Level 2 or Level 3 (for example, GCSE, NVQ Level 3, etc).

As such, it will not be relevant to those who already have a degree from the UK or overseas, or who are currently studying for an Access to HE Diploma.
