Leeds Adult Learning offers a range of first step courses for adults. Courses take place across the city in a variety of different venues. Whether you are looking to learn a new skill, help your child or develop your skills to find work there will be a course for you. Are you aged 25 or over, live in Leeds and have been out of work for more than 12 months? Then STEP is for you.
Access a range of support to help you which includes improving and updating your skills, access work placements and work trials to help you move back into work and debt advice and support.

Learn computer skills in your local library
Do you want to learn how to use a computer, just brush up your skills or need to use a computer but don't have access to one?
Your local library can help. All of the libraries use Learn My Way to help people develop digital skills to make the most of the online world. Sessions are flexible and the support is tailored to your personal needs. You can also book time on a computer with access to the Internet
