With West Yorkshire Safeguarding Week taking place in June, there’s some great training and learning events taking place around a range of safeguarding issues, to share good practice, raise public awareness about abuse and neglect, and learn more about safeguarding related topics.

These courses can allow you to:

✅ Balance study around your other commitments with classes taught one afternoon or evening per week

✅ Learn in a supportive environment with other adults

The Lifelong Learning Centre is holding another drop-in on Thursday 3rd April. This event is for adults who have not had the opportunity to go to university and would like to explore their options in education.

Free Jumpstart course : a university taster course for adults

Interested in attending a free training workshop and learning about healthy cookery, shopping and budgeting?

Join Team, a 12-week personal development programme for the opportunity to gain new skills, take a qualification and meet new people.

Multiply is a free, government funded, adult maths support programme, which is part of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund’s Levelling Up programme.

A range of help is available: from emergency food, staying healthy, housing, jobs and more. Find free confidential and tailored support and information all under one roof at one of the 26 Community Hubs across Leeds.
