Needlework with the Brontes - Victorian Textiles

A one-day presentation of Victorian textiles and sewing using the life and writings of the Bronte family. It's aimed at both sewers with an interest in Victorian literature as well as readers interested in needlework. Students will need basic sewing skills, and will handle vintage textiles and needlework tools to produce Victorian-inspired hand sewn pieces whilst learning the importance of a needlework education to Victorian women.
