Introduction to Surveying (Friday) HT6

Learn why surveying nature is important, how to conduct a habitat survey and then undertake your own self-directed survey with support from the tutor and other learners. You will learn how to survey trees, ponds and plants and in the final week you will make your own wildlife friendly feature for your home or garden. As part of the course, the tutor will provide information on how you will be able to develop and progress your skills, both in terms of self-study and further courses. This course will be taught on site at TCV, Hollybush in a Covid-secure environment. You will be given further details about our measures to keep everyone safe and what you will need to do to comply with these as part of the enrolment process and once you are with us on site. We look forward to welcoming you onto our course.
