GCSW - Counselling for Beginners - L301b
This course is aimed at those who are interested in finding out what counselling as a profession entails. It is a taster course and assumes little or no experience or knowledge of how counselling works. Students will be introduced to the core concepts and skills of empathy, active listening and the importance of the non-judgement of others. There will be a gentle introduction to theory, focusing on the person centred approach.
