This is an English language course for speakers of other languages (ESOL) to improve confidence and develop language skills It is open to any learner from Pre-Entry to Entry 3 level. The language covered will include: talking about health problems to a doctor or nurse; making appointments and accessing local health services; finding your way around a hospital or health centre; understanding medical instruction, and raising awareness of personal safety. It includes core outcomes around sharing personal information and basic numeracy.
