TASTER - Principles of Initial Advice and Guidance (IAG)

Are you looking to volunteer with refugees? The Refugee Training and Advice Service is holding a one-day workshop on how to support refugees with Initial Advice and Guidance. The session includes an overview of active listening skills, communication skills, providing impartial advice and managing expectations. There will also be awareness-raising of how to maintain effective boundaries as you support clients and the best strategies for addressing their concerns. Upon completion, you will be better equipped to volunteer to support refugees with IAG.
