Understanding Treatment & Therapy 1
This course is intended to follow on from the Drug & Alcohol Awareness and/or the Peer Mentoring adult learning courses, and is primarily aimed at learners wishing to develop employability skills and progress into a career within addiction treatment services. The course is also available to people with lived experience of addiction and their families or those who wish to have more understanding of the rationale, benefits and drawbacks of the approaches used in the treatment of addiction and psychological problems, and how these services can be accessed.
